The Press Lounge at London Fashion Week A/W 2013

I attended London Fashion Week last week which was full of fabulous glamour, eye catching garments and of course the most stunning designer shows in Fashion.  As I managed to bag myself a ticket for the exhibition, I was able to enter the press lounge where I could mix with bloggers, journalists and magazine editors. The press lounge was fun and vibrant, complete with a Mac make-up studio offering makeovers (available with appointment booking), a Toni & Guy blow dry studio and stations for those wanting to pull up a comfy chair and write about the events of the day. There were also little touches around this room such as a complimentary vitamin water station offering an array of refreshing flavours available for thirsty attendees.

Vodafone were the main sponsors for London Fashion Week and they had done a great job of imprinting the brand around Somerset house. Charging stations were available around the exhibition for iPods and iPhones which proved to be very convenient. The main one being in the press lounge so that bloggers could re-fuel and re-charge ready for more snaps to upload onto Instagram.  Photographers from magazines, blogs and news channels were constantly snapping people throughout the day and more and it was interesting to see Instagram was a popular choice for showcasing trends and style pics.
